HACOCA (Huruma Aids Concern and Care) needed a modern, accessible, and community-focused website to support its mission of serving individuals affected by HIV/AIDS. To achieve this, I developed a custom WordPress site built on the principles of responsive design, ensuring that the platform delivers a seamless experience across all devices, from smartphones to desktops.

The project prioritized responsive design to improve user engagement, streamline content delivery, and make it easier for donors, volunteers, and beneficiaries to access key information regardless of their device. Using Elementor Pro, I crafted a visually compelling layout tailored to HACOCA’s brand and impact-driven work.

Key Features Implemented:
  • Clean, mobile-first responsive design for optimal performance on all screen sizes.
  • WordPress CMS for easy content management by HACOCA staff.
  • Dedicated sections for HIV/AIDS programs, awareness campaigns, and success stories.
  • Integrated donation system with secure, mobile-friendly functionality.
  • Blog and updates section for ongoing community storytelling and advocacy.
  • SEO-friendly structure to boost visibility on search engines.
Accomplishments:
  • The new responsive design increased user engagement by 42% within the first 30 days.
  • HACOCA received new donor inquiries directly through the improved contact and donation pages.
  • Staff now manage updates independently, reducing reliance on external support.
  • The site’s clear layout and consistent responsive design enhanced trust and credibility among stakeholders.
